SBAT (Sociedade Brasileira de Autores Teatrais)

While primarily focused on theatre, the Sociedade Brasileira de Autores Teatrais (SBAT) also represents the rights of composers and lyricists whose works are used in theatrical productions. As one of the seven societies that form ECAD, SBAT plays a specialized role in Brazil's copyright ecosystem, ensuring that authors of music for the stage receive their share of public performance royalties.
