Re:Sound

Canada

Re:Sound is the Canadian Collective Management Organization dedicated to collecting royalties for performers and record labels, often referred to as neighboring rights. When recorded music is performed in public or broadcast on radio and television, Re:Sound collects licensing fees and distributes them to its member organizations (such as ACTRA RACS and MROC), who in turn pay the individual artists and record companies. It ensures that the owners and creators of the sound recording receive fair compensation for their work.
