No, you don't need to be registered with a PRO. The beauty of Monetunes is that we are integrated with 200+ collection societies worldwide. You can simply register your Works once on our platform and they will be automatically synced worldwide at no cost.
Yes, you can use Monetunes even if you are registered with a PRO.
Publishing royalties are split in two parts:

Songwriter's Share: Paid directly to you by your PRO.

Publisher's Share: Usually left uncollected unless you have a publisher.
By registering your works with a PRO, you will collect the Songwriter’s Share. However, in order to collect the Publisher's share artists need to work with a Publisher. Most publishers will keep a commission of 50% and will own your rights for many years. Without a Publisher, you are leaving a significant amount unclaimed.
That's where Monetunes comes in. ou recover these additional royalties, often more than double of what you would earn through your PRO alone. Additionally, when you register your works on Monetunes, you can sync your profile with your PRO's, ensuring you don’t have to register them separately.

Publishing royalties are the payments that you receive as a songwriter or producer whenever a song that you wrote the music or lyrics for is used in various settings – such as Radio, Live, Streaming Services, etc. Those are different from the master royalties, which are usually paid by your distributor or record label.
No, everything stays exactly as is. Nothing changes on your end. Monetunes only finds royalties that you are not currently collecting and that your label(s) and distributor(s) are missing. We only bring a new source of revenue and everything else stays unchanged.
