SAMI (Svenska Artisters och Musikers Intresseorganisation)

SAMI is the Swedish organization dedicated to collecting and distributing remuneration for performers and musicians under neighboring rights legislation. When a sound recording is broadcast or used in public, SAMI collects fees on behalf of the artists who performed on that recording. It advocates for the rights of performers and ensures they are compensated for their creative contributions, working in parallel with STIM to cover the full spectrum of music rights in Sweden.
