MACP (Music Authors' Copyright Protection Berhad)

MACP is the primary licensing body for musical works in Malaysia. As a non-profit organization, it represents songwriters, composers, and music publishers. MACP is responsible for licensing the public performance, broadcast, and reproduction of its members' music, collecting the associated fees, and distributing them as royalties. It is the main society protecting the rights of music creators in the Malaysian market.
