CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers)

CISAC is the world's leading network of authors' societies, often referred to as an umbrella body for collecting societies. It does not collect royalties directly but works to promote the interests of creators and facilitate the global network of reciprocal agreements between its member societies. These agreements ensure that royalties flow across borders, allowing a creator from one country to be paid when their work is used in another.
