Buma/Stemra

Buma/Stemra is the Dutch Collective Management Organization for music authors and publishers. It is composed of two private entities: Buma, which focuses on performing rights, and Stemra, which handles mechanical reproduction rights. Together, they license the use of music on radio, TV, in public spaces, and on physical and digital products. This integrated approach allows Buma/Stemra to provide a comprehensive service for both its members and music users, ensuring that Dutch and international creators are compensated for nearly all forms of music usage in the Netherlands.
