AKKA/LAA (Autortiesību un komunicēšanās konsultāciju aģentūra / Latvijas autoru apvienība)

AKKA/LAA is the main authors' society in Latvia, representing a wide range of creators including songwriters, composers, writers, and visual artists. It is responsible for the collective management of copyrights, including the performing and mechanical rights for musical works. The organization licenses the use of its members' works and distributes the collected royalties, protecting the rights of Latvian creators.
