APRA AMCOS is a crucial entity in the music industries of Australia and New Zealand, representing over 100,000 members. It is a joint organization of two societies: APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association), which manages performing rights for composers, songwriters, and publishers, and AMCOS (Australasian Mechanical-Copyright Owners Society), which manages mechanical rights for reproduction. This integrated structure provides a one-stop-shop for music licensing and royalty collection in the region.
